About the role
The Technology Risk, Compliance and Governance Lead is a key member of the Technology Risk team, responsible for operating, maintaining, and maturing risk, compliance, and governance practices across the Technology function. The role focuses on enabling disciplined and effective risk management at scale, ensuring frameworks, governance processes, and assurance activities run smoothly to support executive decision-making.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operate and uplift Technology Risk, Compliance and Governance frameworks and artefacts
Maintain risk profiles, control libraries, compliance obligations, and issue/action registers
Support and run Technology risk and compliance governance forums, including papers, minutes, and action tracking
Maintain and enhance the Technology Control Catalogue and support monitoring of control effectiveness
Coordinate internal audit, external audit, and cyber security assurance activities
Manage audit evidence, remediation tracking, and risk and compliance reporting
Provide practical risk, compliance, and governance guidance to Technology leaders and teams
What You’ll Bring
Strong experience in technology-related risk, compliance, governance, or assurance roles
Practical experience operating risk frameworks, governance forums, and control libraries
Experience coordinating audit or assurance activities within complex organisations
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders in an enablement role
Strong written communication skills for governance and assurance artefacts
