Technology Policy Manager - CCIA

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute advocacy strategies for AI, privacy, telecommunications, and emerging digital regulation portfolios.
• Monitor and analyze federal and state legislative and regulatory developments, producing timely briefings for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with policy experts, member companies, and industry coalitions to shape position papers, comments, and testimony.
• Manage outreach initiatives, including stakeholder meetings, public comment processes, and industry events.
• Support the preparation of reports, white papers, and media materials that articulate the association’s policy positions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public policy, law, political science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in technology policy, regulatory affairs, or government relations, preferably covering AI, privacy, or telecom issues.
• Strong analytical and writing skills with the ability to translate complex regulatory concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with policymakers, industry stakeholders, and advocacy groups.
• Proficiency in legislative tracking tools and familiarity with the U.S. regulatory landscape for technology sectors.
