About the Role
GearTech Gaming and Computer Retail UK Ltd is looking for an analytical, organised and commercially aware Technology Inventory Analyst to support the accurate planning, monitoring and control of gaming computers, laptops, components, peripherals and consumer technology products.
The successful candidate will analyse stock levels, sales demand, supplier lead times and product performance to help maintain availability while reducing excess inventory and avoidable costs. They will work closely with purchasing, e-commerce, warehouse, finance and product teams to ensure that inventory records are accurate and replenishment decisions are supported by reliable data.
This role is suitable for an inventory, supply-chain or retail analyst with practical experience in stock reporting, demand analysis and operational planning who is ready to take greater ownership of technology-product inventory.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels across technology product categories
- Analyse stock availability, movement and product demand
- Maintain accurate records for computers, components and peripherals
- Review daily stock reports and identify discrepancies
- Investigate differences between physical and system inventory
- Support regular cycle counts and full inventory checks
- Analyse sales history to identify demand patterns
- Prepare product-level and category-level stock reports
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving and obsolete inventory
- Identify products at risk of running out of stock
- Recommend replenishment quantities and priorities
- Support demand forecasting for new and existing products
- Review supplier lead times and delivery performance
- Monitor open purchase orders and expected delivery dates
- Follow up on delayed, incomplete or incorrect supplier deliveries
- Coordinate with buyers regarding stock requirements
- Support inventory planning for product launches
- Prepare stock plans for seasonal campaigns and sales events
- Analyse promotional demand and post-campaign performance
- Monitor stock for gaming PCs, laptops and computer components
- Track high-value items such as graphics cards and processors
- Review component availability for custom PC builds
- Identify compatibility-related stock dependencies
- Support allocation of products across sales channels
- Coordinate inventory information between website and marketplace systems
- Monitor stock reserved for customer orders and PC configurations
- Review cancelled orders and released inventory
- Analyse returns, damaged stock and warranty replacements
- Track refurbished, open-box and returned products
- Support stock adjustments and inventory-status changes
- Work with warehouse teams to improve stock accuracy
