Software Engineer
Technology Engineer responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining IT and network infrastructure, leveraging cloud platforms, automation scripts and virtualisation to support engineering projects and ensure reliable, secure operations.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and maintain on‑premise and cloud‑based IT infrastructure supporting engineering projects.
- Configure, monitor and troubleshoot network devices, firewalls and VPNs to ensure secure connectivity.
- Develop automation scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) for provisioning, patching and performance monitoring.
- Manage virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and containerised workloads.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define technical requirements and provide support during project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering and cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP).
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting (Python, Bash).
- Hands‑on experience with virtualisation, containerisation and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform preferred).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
