Software Engineer
Entry‑level QA Testing Analyst responsible for creating test strategies, writing test cases, and executing both manual and automated tests across host‑based, distributed and client‑server environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test strategies and detailed test case documentation for new and existing features.
- Execute manual test scripts and automate test suites using tools such as Selenium or equivalent.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to identify risks, reproduce defects, and verify fixes.
- Participate in cross‑functional feature teams, contributing to sprint planning and daily stand‑ups in an Agile environment.
- Maintain test data, environments, and reporting dashboards, ensuring traceability and coverage.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Fundamental understanding of software testing concepts, test case design, and defect lifecycle.
- Experience (academic projects or internships) with manual testing and at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
- Proficiency in SQL for data validation and basic scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced team.
