Lead the design, implementation, and oversight of AI and analytics technology controls, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and data governance across mission‑critical engineering solutions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Define and enforce technology control frameworks for AI and analytics initiatives, aligning with regulatory and internal risk standards.
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and security teams to embed governance, privacy, and ethical AI practices into product lifecycles.
- Monitor, assess, and remediate control gaps, conducting regular audits and risk assessments for AI models and analytics pipelines.
- Drive continuous improvement of data governance policies, metadata management, and model validation processes.
- Provide expert guidance on cloud‑based AI platforms, ensuring secure configuration, access management, and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technology risk, control management, or compliance for AI/analytics environments.
- Strong knowledge of AI/ML model governance, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and risk assessment methodologies.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with data scientists, engineers, and security professionals.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related security controls.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical risks into actionable business recommendations.
