About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and fabrication of injection molds and tooling.
- Operate and maintain CNC machining centers and other fabrication equipment.
- Perform quality control checks on molds and molded parts to ensure specifications are met.
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and implement solutions to improve performance and longevity.
- Collaborate with engineers on new product development and process improvements.
- Maintain detailed records of tooling modifications, repairs, and performance data.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a technician in molding and tooling engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software for mold design and machining.
- Experience operating CNC machining equipment.
- Strong understanding of plastic injection molding processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
