Seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer in Brantford, Ontario to create clear and concise technical documentation for automation and robotics systems, supporting SR&ED claims.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Create clear, concise, and detailed technical documentation for automated systems, robotics, and industrial machinery.
- Support SR&ED (Scientific Research and Experimental Development) claims through accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to gather information for documentation.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets industry standards.
- Contribute to the overall knowledge base and technical communication efforts of the company.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in an industrial or automation setting.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, or industrial machinery is a strong asset.
- Ability to translate complex technical information into easily understandable content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
