Seeking a Technical Threat Investigator to join OpenAI's Threat Intelligence team. This role involves investigating sophisticated threats, building analytical tools, and delivering intelligence to inform security strategy and protect OpenAI's systems and research.

Key Responsibilities
- Investigate sophisticated cyber threats targeting OpenAI's infrastructure, research, and personnel.
- Develop and enhance tooling to automate and scale threat analysis and intelligence gathering.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of malware, network traffic, and system artifacts.
- Produce actionable intelligence reports to inform security strategy and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to disrupt adversary activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of threat detection and response capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in threat intelligence, incident response, or security engineering.
- Strong understanding of adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python for tool development and automation.
- Experience with malware analysis, digital forensics, and network security principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex findings clearly.
