Software Engineer
Provide expert technical support for scientific instruments and assays, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver data-driven solutions using Python, R, and statistical methods while ensuring compliance with Good Laboratory Practice.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical resource for troubleshooting and maintaining laboratory instruments and assay platforms.
- Analyze experimental data using Python, R, and statistical tools to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training materials, SOPs, and best‑practice guidelines for end‑users.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to validate new methods, calibrate equipment, and support product launches.
- Document all activities in compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Bioengineering).
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience with laboratory instrumentation and assay development.
- Proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, visualization, and statistical analysis.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a track record of resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
