Seeking a Technical Support Engineer to provide expert assistance with cloud infrastructure, Linux, and networking. This remote role involves troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure, including Linux operating systems and networking issues.
- Assist customers with Vultr's Cloud Compute, Cloud GPU, Bare Metal, and Cloud Storage solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems reported by users.
- Document technical issues and resolutions for knowledge base creation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and address product bugs or performance issues.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical support or a similar customer-facing technical role.
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Solid knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
