Software Engineer
Technical Support Engineer responsible for end‑to‑end resolution of customer issues on a Django/Python backend, Angular frontend, and REST APIs, collaborating with engineering to reproduce bugs, debug authentication problems, and improve support processes.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of customer‑reported technical problems, from triage to resolution, across the Django/Python backend, Angular frontend, and REST APIs.
- Investigate, reproduce, and document bugs in Jira with clear, actionable tickets for engineering teams.
- Debug API errors, authentication failures, and data‑flow issues, providing timely workarounds and permanent fixes.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering to surface recurring issues, suggest product improvements, and help shape scalable support processes.
- Maintain and enhance internal knowledge bases, troubleshooting guides, and support tooling.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Python and Django development, including RESTful API design and debugging.
- Proficiency in Angular or similar front‑end frameworks and ability to troubleshoot client‑side issues.
- Hands‑on experience using Jira (or similar issue‑tracking systems) for bug reporting and workflow management.
- Solid understanding of authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.) and data flow across services.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, communication ability, and a proactive attitude toward improving support operations.
