Salary: £25,800 per annum (Depending on experience, with post-probation and annual reviews)

We are seeking a tech-savvy, customer-focused Technical Support Engineer to join our close-knit team. This role offers comprehensive training and excellent long-term career progression for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Deployment: Deliver and install hardware and software solutions at customer sites.
- Technical Support: Resolve customer issues via phone, email, remote access, or on-site visits.
- On-Site Calibration: Perform commercial weighing scale calibrations (primarily in the South West).
- Training: Deliver software and system training to customers remotely and on-site.
- On-Call Support: Participate in an out-of-hours technical support rota.
- Sales Support: Handle initial customer enquiries, route leads to the Sales Manager, and conduct software demonstrations.
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to personal transport (a company vehicle is provided for official travel).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (GCSE-level English and Maths or equivalent).
- Excellent customer service skills with a strong attention to detail.
- A demonstrable interest in technology, commercial software, and business apps.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team.
- Willingness to travel regularly and maintain flexibility for occasional out-of-hours working.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a technical support, IT, or networking role.
- Commercial awareness within the retail or hospitality sectors.
