Software Engineer
Technical Support Engineer responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex software and system issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction and system reliability using Windows, Linux, and networking tools.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for software and system incidents, diagnosing root causes and implementing solutions.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to reproduce, analyze, and resolve bugs in production environments.
- Maintain and update knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and best‑practice documentation.
- Monitor system health, perform preventive maintenance, and recommend infrastructure improvements.
- Engage with customers via phone, chat, and ticketing systems to deliver timely, professional support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical support or system administration roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
