Software Engineer
Provides advanced technical support for enterprise IT systems, handling hardware installation, software configuration, and complex issue resolution across Windows, Linux, and virtualized environments.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain enterprise hardware and software solutions using approved deployment tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting Windows Server, Linux, and virtualized environments (VMware).
- Provide tier‑2/3 support for clinical and business applications, acting as a systems analyst to diagnose and remediate application problems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication services within Active Directory and related identity platforms.
- Monitor network performance, diagnose connectivity problems, and coordinate with networking teams to ensure reliable infrastructure.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise IT support, including Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non‑technical users.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, VCP) are a plus.
