Job Description: Inventure IT is seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Savannah, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, maintaining their IT infrastructure, and ensuring their systems operate smoothly. Responsibilities:
- Provide timely technical support to clients via phone, email, ticket system, or in-person, addressing a wide range of IT issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system-related problems.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their technical needs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain and monitor client systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Perform system upgrades, installations, and configurations as needed.
- Assist with the administration of email systems, including migrations to Office 365.
- Manage and troubleshoot Active Directory, Exchange, Google Workspace, and Office 365.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Server versions and Server migrations.
- Work with commercial-grade networking equipment such as Sonicwall, Fortigate, Unifi and Cisco.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT solutions.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours technical support as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; some college education preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology or technical support roles.
- Extensive knowledge with Windows operating systems, including Server versions.
- Background in working with Sonicwall, Unifi, Fortigate, Cisco, or other commercial-grade networking equipment.
- Experience in Exchange, Google Workspace, Office 365, and Active Directory administration.
- Proven experience in migrating clients from existing email systems to Office 365.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A customer-focused attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco) are a plus.
