Technical Support Engineer - Kapsch TrafficCom AG

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain core production and development applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across the ITS stack, collaborating with engineering and customer support teams.
• Implement automation scripts (Python) and infrastructure as code (AWS CloudFormation) to streamline deployment and monitoring.
• Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and post‑mortem documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including performance tuning, security hardening, and documentation updates.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Linux system administration and networking concepts.
• Strong scripting skills in Python and familiarity with AWS services.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools is a plus.
