Software Engineer
Provide advanced technical support for addressable TV advertising platforms, troubleshooting network and software issues, collaborating with product teams, and ensuring seamless delivery of ads across multiple devices and platforms.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to video ad delivery, streaming protocols, and device interoperability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to reproduce bugs and implement fixes.
- Maintain and monitor Linux‑based servers, network configurations, and database health to ensure high availability.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and diagnostic tools using Python and REST APIs.
- Document troubleshooting procedures, create knowledge‑base articles, and provide clear communication to customers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 2+ years of technical support or systems engineering experience.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, TCP/IP networking, and troubleshooting of streaming/video pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and working with RESTful APIs for monitoring and automation.
- Experience with SQL databases and query optimization for performance analysis.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and customer‑service skills.
