Software Engineer
Entry‑level technical support analyst responsible for deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting desktops, servers, networking gear, and security devices across a manufacturing environment, with on‑call support and close collaboration with business and OT teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve help‑desk tickets for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and networking equipment.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux workstations, servers, and security devices such as access control and cameras.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in the ticketing system, ensuring accurate knowledge base updates.
- Collaborate with business users, mill site staff, and IT/OT teammates to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Participate in after‑hours/on‑call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in Windows and Linux environments.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, group policies, and remote support tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
