Technical Support Analyst responsible for configuring, operating, and optimizing Apptio Costing and Planning modules, delivering data‑driven insights for technology finance, and supporting cloud cost transparency initiatives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Apptio Costing and Planning modules to ensure accurate cost allocation and forecasting.
- Develop and refine data models, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable financial insights for technology leaders.
- Integrate cloud cost data (AWS, Azure, GCP) into the Apptio platform, automating ingestion and validation processes.
- Collaborate with finance, IT, and engineering teams to resolve data quality issues and improve cost transparency.
- Write and maintain scripts (Python/SQL) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) workflows.
Requirements
- Hands‑on experience with Apptio Financial Management Platform, especially Costing and Planning modules.
- Strong knowledge of cloud cost structures and experience integrating AWS, Azure, or GCP billing data.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, reporting tools, and financial analytics.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
