About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines and analytical models using Python, R, and SQL to support research and institutional decision‑making.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to define project scopes, deliverables, and timelines.
- Conduct statistical analyses, interpret results, and translate findings into clear reports and visualizations for diverse audiences.
- Lead and mentor junior analysts, ensuring best practices in data quality, documentation, and reproducibility.
- Manage project budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications to keep initiatives on track.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and project management within an academic or research environment.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL; experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced, interdisciplinary setting.
