About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Python code for Claude AI models, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Develop and refine prompt engineering techniques to improve model interpretability and steerability.
- Collaborate with research and safety teams to embed AI safety best practices into the development workflow.
- Deploy and monitor Claude services on cloud platforms, optimizing resource usage and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance profiling to meet strict quality standards.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with large language model frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Hands‑on experience in prompt engineering, model fine‑tuning, and evaluation.
- Solid understanding of AI safety principles and ability to apply them in production code.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work cross‑functionally with research, policy, and engineering teams.
