About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical resource for installers, offering product selection advice and on‑site support for tile, stone, wood, carpet, and resilient flooring projects.
- Diagnose and resolve installation challenges, recommending system‑based solutions that improve efficiency and quality.
- Develop and deliver training sessions, technical bulletins, and best‑practice guides for professional installers and sales teams.
- Collaborate with product development scientists to relay field feedback, assist in product testing, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and emerging flooring technologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in commercial or residential flooring installation and system integration.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex installation issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills for delivering training, writing technical documentation, and interacting with customers.
- Proven ability to work cross‑functionally with R&D, sales, and customer service teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Materials Science, or related field preferred.
