About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day‑to‑day operations of SAP BASIS environments, ensuring 99.9% uptime and optimal performance.
- Lead incident management, root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures across on‑prem and cloud landscapes.
- Design and implement automation scripts (Python, Bash) for routine tasks, configuration management, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with application, security, and infrastructure teams to align SAP services with business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of SAP BASIS administration experience in large, complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, HANA, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, SAP BTP).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform).
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
