Software Engineer
Senior developer leading design, configuration, and delivery of Guidewire InsuranceNow solutions for underwriting, claims, billing and product setup, building secure cloud‑native applications in an Agile environment.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, secure cloud‑native solutions for the InsuranceNow platform, adhering to enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead end‑to‑end development and configuration of Guidewire InsuranceNow modules, including rate filings, product versioning, underwriting rules, and claims processing.
- Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, architects, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high‑quality technical deliverables.
- Develop and expose RESTful APIs to integrate InsuranceNow with external systems and services.
- Drive Agile practices, code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong expertise in Java and Guidewire InsuranceNow.
- Proven experience building cloud‑native applications on platforms such as AWS or Azure, emphasizing security and scalability.
- Solid understanding of insurance domain concepts (underwriting, claims, billing, product configuration).
- Hands‑on experience with REST API design, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and version control (Git).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a track record of delivering solutions in Agile Scrum environments.
