Seeking a Technical Revenue Manager to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves financial reporting, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare and review complex revenue transactions, including contract analysis and accounting memos.
- Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams to interpret contract terms and their revenue implications.
- Assist in the development and implementation of revenue accounting policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audits related to revenue recognition.
- Drive process improvements within the revenue accounting function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical revenue accounting, preferably within a SaaS or technology company.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 606.
- Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
