Software Engineer
Create, manage, and publish engineering documentation using DITA, XML, and Adobe FrameMaker, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain technical publications, including user manuals, service guides, and installation procedures for complex engineering products.
- Author and edit content using DITA XML standards and Adobe FrameMaker to ensure consistency and reusability.
- Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality engineers to gather accurate product information and verify technical data.
- Integrate CAD drawings and schematics into documentation, maintaining proper version control within PLM systems.
- Perform rigorous reviews, proofreading, and compliance checks to meet regulatory and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience creating engineering documentation using DITA, XML, and Adobe FrameMaker.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite and ability to work with CAD data and PLM tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial equipment sectors is a plus.
