Software Engineer
Lead the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for upstream process engineering projects, leveraging simulation tools, data analysis, and industry best practices to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update detailed technical documents, including process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and safety guidelines for upstream facilities.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to translate complex process simulations and data analyses into clear, user‑friendly documentation.
- Ensure all publications meet regulatory standards and internal quality benchmarks.
- Maintain version control and document management systems to track revisions and approvals.
- Provide training and support to operators and maintenance staff on new procedures and documentation changes.
Requirements
- Strong hands‑on experience with upstream process engineering and facility operations.
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and data analysis tools.
- Excellent technical writing skills with a focus on clarity and precision.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
