Technical Project Manager leading complex, mission‑critical programs for a national security client. Drives Agile delivery, manages risk, coordinates multi‑disciplinary teams, and ensures technical solutions align with strategic objectives.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of high‑impact technical programs, ensuring schedule, cost, and performance targets are met.
- Apply Agile and Scrum practices to coordinate cross‑functional teams, facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and issues, maintaining comprehensive risk registers and contingency plans.
- Engage with senior stakeholders and government customers to define requirements, provide status updates, and align technical solutions with mission objectives.
- Collaborate with architects and engineers to validate technical designs, integration points, and cloud (AWS/Azure) deployment strategies.
- Produce and maintain program documentation, including schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of technical project management experience in defense, intelligence, or related federal programs.
- Proven expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and formal project management frameworks (e.g., PMP, PMI‑ACP).
- Strong background in risk management, stakeholder communication, and delivering cloud‑based solutions.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable plans for senior leadership.
- Security clearance eligibility and familiarity with government acquisition processes.
