We are looking for Technical Project Manager Service Engineering
You’ll make a difference by
- During bid phase the Service Engineering Technical Project Manager is responsible for processing all relevant technical service requirements within the given bid schedule and budget.
- Elaboration of maintenance concept and life cycle cost model in collaboration with the bid manager and other relevant interface partners.
- Optimize maintenance costs in line with customer specific contract requirements and obtain approval or escalate to bid manager.
- During project execution phase act as primary contact person for all service relevant technical issues over the entire life cycle.
- Definition and approval of service specifications for system sourcing.
- Coordination of service component engineers, tender/project timelines and budget responsibility.
- Elaboration of our rolling stock products regarding serviceability and maintenance cost aspects within the framework of the train architecture team.
- Early and close involvement in the system design and sourcing process together with rolling stock engineering and procurement.
- Creation of maintenance lifecycle cost calculation using data input from system suppliers and field experience.
- Support preparation of system maintenance strategy decisions (make or buy) and implement it accordingly in the project maintenance concept.
- Within maintenance project mobilization phase detail maintenance concept and reveal deviations or optimization potentials with focus on maintenance costs (preventive and corrective). This all in compliance with supplier safety specifications, requirements from customer contracts, laws and standards.
- Evaluation of service-relevant diagnostic data and technical support.
- Drive continuous improvement of maintenance based on field experience and innovations, promote service upgrades and retrofits of existing fleets.
Desired Skills:
- You have successfully completed a degree in electrical, mechanical or automotive engineering.
