Technical Project Manager
Hybrid | Rochdale, Greater Manchester
Description
Footasylum is a leading UK-based retailer specialising in streetwear and sportswear, committed to delivering innovative and trend-setting products to our customers, with a strong focus on digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our Digital Change team. This role will manage change from initiation through to handover into BAU, supporting the business to implement projects that impact people, processes and systems. You will play a key part in coordinating digital projects, bringing together technical and non-technical teams, and helping us deliver change safely and effectively across the business.
The Team
The PMO function is part of the IT team and works closely with the Digital Tech team and wider business areas to coordinate and manage digital projects from start to finish. The team focuses on the full project lifecycle, understanding the project journey and the business functions and systems impacted, so that all relevant areas are included throughout delivery.
Acting as the voice of the project, the PMO team manages progress reporting, risk monitoring and decision tracking to help ensure projects are delivered on time and to scope. Strong communication is central to the team, making sure stakeholders are informed at the right level and at the right time, with clear and transparent updates across the business.
About You
We are looking for someone who embodies the Footasylum values - Community, Collaborate & Challenge. You will be an expert in UK culture and a brand fanatic.
You will be experienced in managing projects from initiation through to delivery, with the ability to create clear plans, manage documentation and drive progress through to completion.
You will be confident working with internal stakeholders and third parties, bringing together technical and non-technical conversations and communicating clearly with all levels of the business.
You will have a strong understanding of business change, including how projects impact people, processes and ways of working, and you will be comfortable supporting governance, communication planning and continuous improvement across the PMO function.
Along with;
· A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships across technical teams, business stakeholders and external partners.
· A proactive mindset, with the confidence to identify risks, resolve issues where possible and escalate appropriately when needed.
· A focus on delivering value for the business and the best possible service for our customers.
Responsibilities
Manage projects from initiation to BAU through the change governance processes defined by PMO.
