About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and execution of Earth Observation mission and system proposals for various clients including ESA, EC, DLR, and commercial entities.
- Manage and guide project teams throughout the entire lifecycle of mission and system development.
- Organize and conduct regular project meetings to effectively plan and review project progress.
- Analyze, define, and coordinate project requirements with the project team and clients.
- Oversee the management and coordination of individual project partners and subcontractors.
- Take responsibility for the cost, schedule, and performance of studies and projects.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical project management, preferably within the space or Earth Observation sector.
- Strong understanding of mission and system development lifecycles.
- Experience in proposal preparation and client interaction, particularly with space agencies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors effectively.
