Contract Technical Project Manager leading cross‑functional teams to deliver eVTOL aircraft programs, applying Agile/Scrum practices, risk management, and systems engineering to meet schedule, cost, and performance targets.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of eVTOL development projects, coordinating mechanical, electrical, software, and certification teams.
- Implement and maintain Agile/Scrum processes, using Jira to track sprints, backlogs, and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical and program risks, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and safety regulations.
- Facilitate communication between internal stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to align expectations and resolve issues promptly.
- Monitor project performance metrics, produce status reports, and adjust plans to meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑tech hardware development.
- Proven expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification preferred) and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and aircraft certification processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of leading multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
