Brown & Brown is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our growing team!
The Technical Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise software development platform initiatives across the organization. This role demands hands-on technical project leadership with a strong foundation in PMI methodologies, project financial management, and cross-functional coordination spanning multiple business verticals. The individual will partner with business leaders, development teams, analysts, and external vendors to deliver complex technology projects on time, within budget, and within scope—while maintaining clear, consistent communication with senior leadership.

How You Will Contribute:
Lead the end-to-end delivery of software development platform projects, including architecture decisions, build/buy analysis, integration planning, and production deployment
Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the execution of multiple concurrent technical initiatives
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with business stakeholders, development teams, and technical leads, ensuring technical feasibility and strategic alignment
Develop and manage detailed project budgets, including cost forecasting, spend tracking, variance reporting, and financial escalation when constraints require adjustment
Build and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies, resource models, and critical path analysis
Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using formal change control and verification techniques aligned with PMI standards
Drive cross-functional collaboration across departments, business units, and subject matter domains - including areas outside direct vertical expertise—to ensure integrated delivery outcomes
Measure and report project performance using appropriate tools, KPIs, and earned value management techniques
Perform risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning; escalate to leadership as needed
Establish and maintain productive relationships with third-party vendors, including contract performance management and deliverable accountability
Licenses & Certifications:
Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent PMI credential
