DMI is seeking a Technical Project Manager with expertise in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) management and emerging AI/ML delivery to support the Federal Program. This individual will manage custom application development workstreams, oversee CI/CD delivery pipelines, and coordinate the implementation of AI-powered solution components across multiple projects. The role requires strong technical fluency in modern development practices, DevSecOps, and AI/ML solution delivery in FedRAMP-compliant environments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the full SDLC across all custom application development workstreams, from requirements handoff through design, development, testing, and production deployment
- Run daily development stand-ups and sprint planning sessions; track feature completion against sprint commitments and maintain the application development milestone schedule
- Coordinate with BAs to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are sprint-ready before development begins; work with the Azure DevOps Engineer to manage build pipelines and deployment environments
- Facilitate QA and UAT coordination between development teams and business stakeholders; manage code freeze and release readiness checklists
- Track and manage open defects and their resolution timelines; coordinate Section 508 compliance reviews as part of each release cycle
- Oversee AI/ML solution delivery workstreams in coordination with AI Engineers and the Solution Architect, ensuring that AI components are delivered on schedule and within approved architectures
- Produce bi-weekly application development status reports for the COR covering feature delivery status, defect trends, release readiness, and AI/ML implementation progress
- Coordinate with the Azure DevOps Engineer on CI/CD pipeline readiness, SAST/DAST scan results, and deployment gate approvals
- Manage technical risk register for all application development workstreams; escalate High and Critical risks within one (1) business day of identification
Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required
- Minimum 6 years of program management experience managing SDLC-based application development in a federal IT environment
