Technical Project Manager - AlphaRidge

AlphaRidge is a New York based managed IT and cybersecurity firm serving organizations in healthcare, financial services, and the public sector. We run an integrated Security Operations Center and Network Operations Center, which means monitoring, detection, and infrastructure operations sit under one roof rather than being handed between vendors. About the Role

We are hiring our first dedicated Technical Project Manager. Today, project coordination at AlphaRidge lives with senior engineers and executives, and it works because those people are disciplined, not because the system is. As we grow, that stops scaling. This role exists to own the delivery system itself: every client project from signed quote through completed work through invoiced revenue, with nothing falling into the gaps between people.

This is a technical PM seat inside a managed service provider, and both words matter. You need enough hands on grounding in cloud, infrastructure, and networking to interrogate an engineer's estimate, spot a missing dependency in a migration plan, and translate accurately between a client executive and the engineer doing the work. You will not touch production, but you cannot manage what you cannot understand.

Our client base is majority Microsoft, with Google Workspace and mixed environments in the remainder. Most of your project portfolio will be client onboardings, tenant and infrastructure migrations, and security remediation work in regulated industries, where a missed step is a compliance event, not just a delay.

What You'll Do

• Own every active client project from signed quote to closed and invoiced, with a single visible source of truth for status, owner, and next action.
• Run the intake from sales to delivery: confirm scope, sequence the work, assign engineering owners, and make sure no won engagement sits without one.
• Build and run the project cadence: kickoffs, milestone tracking, cutover scheduling, and structured closeout including the handoff to billing.
• Own client communication rhythm during projects, so clients hear from us on schedule rather than when they chase us.
• Manage cross functional dependencies across engineering, the service desk, the SOC and NOC, vendors, and client stakeholders.
• Pressure test effort estimates and timelines with the engineering leads before they are committed to a client.
• Track scope against the signed statement of work and surface creep early, with a recommendation, not just a flag.
• Coordinate change windows and maintenance schedules with clients and internal teams.
