Software Engineer
Lead multidisciplinary water and wastewater projects, overseeing design, budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination while applying engineering standards and regulatory compliance.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through construction.
- Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring milestones are met and risks are mitigated.
- Prepare technical specifications, calculations, and drawings in AutoCAD Civil 3D, adhering to EPA and local regulatory standards.
- Lead cross‑functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Control project budgets, track costs, and produce progress reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater project delivery, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling and AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting.
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations, treatment processes, and design standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
