Lead end‑to‑end delivery of AWS data centre sites, coordinating engineering, construction, supply chain, security and operations teams to build scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure worldwide.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle for new data centre sites, from concept through commissioning, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—engineers, architects, construction managers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers—to align technical, logistical, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, risk registers, and status reports, communicating progress to senior stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and best practices for data centre delivery across the global portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and security standards while optimizing cost and performance.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing large‑scale infrastructure or data centre projects.
- Strong knowledge of AWS infrastructure services and data centre design principles.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience with construction management, supply chain logistics, and security compliance in a technical environment.
