Accountabilities:
- Manage supplier-facing execution for technical hardware programs, including RFQs, purchase orders, supplier communications, delivery tracking, and issue resolution.
- Translate engineering and program requirements into clear supplier actions while ensuring material availability and schedule adherence.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and supplier terms, including payment schedules, delivery commitments, warranties, cancellation clauses, intellectual property protections, and risk allocation.
- Review supplier proposals, quotations, and contractual terms to proactively identify commercial and operational risks.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and program leadership to align procurement activities with technical priorities and project milestones.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, open purchase orders, and delivery commitments while driving timely escalations when necessary.
- Support procurement within government and export-controlled environments by ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and supplier requirements.
- Contribute to the development of scalable supplier management processes that balance speed, quality, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience in procurement, supplier management, contracts, supply chain, or commercial program execution within aerospace, defense, robotics, manufacturing, or other hardware-focused industries.
- Previous experience in a fast-growing startup or similarly dynamic environment with evolving processes and high levels of ownership.
