Lead cross‑functional incident response programs, coordinating security teams, stakeholders, and engineering to detect, contain, and remediate threats while driving process improvements and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of major security incidents, from detection through post‑mortem analysis.
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams—including engineering, security operations, legal, and communications—to ensure rapid containment and remediation.
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve incident response playbooks, runbooks, and escalation procedures.
- Drive program governance, metrics, and reporting to senior leadership, highlighting trends, root causes, and remediation effectiveness.
- Implement Agile project‑management practices to prioritize and track remediation tasks and long‑term security initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing security or incident‑response programs in a fast‑paced technology environment.
- Strong understanding of security operations, threat hunting, and vulnerability management frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams, influence without authority, and communicate complex technical issues to executive audiences.
- Hands‑on experience with incident‑response tools, SIEM platforms, and automation frameworks.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with a track record of delivering results under pressure.
