Our Technical Program Managers lead programs and initiatives across the Cloud division from concept to market. We align product, engineering, and business teams to exceed the expectations of our customers.

Technical Program Managers are key contributors to Akamai's success. You will be responsible for leading projects and developing processes that enable us to improve performance. This particular role will support Akamai's Infrastructure, Engineering & Operations related programs.

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will be responsible for:

• Leading cross-functional teams : Engineering, Product Management, Network Operations and support the product roadmap
• Analyzing risks and developing contingency plans
• Identifying and communicating backlog of work with key stakeholders, guiding them in priorities based on business needs
• Communicating program status and expectation changes to senior leaders with appropriate frequency, using standardized methods
• Maintaining and iterating on a roadmap of committed work through the current calendar

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a High School / Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
• Have 5 years of experience working with Network Infrastructure and Cloud Technologies
• Have an experience working with JIRA and Confluence
• Have an experience in identifying and managing project dependencies while maintaining accurate project plans with real-time milestones
• Be able to analyze workload and communicate technical issues to senior stakeholders of varying technical ability
• Have good interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills needed to work across global constituencies.
