About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver large‑scale Air Force enterprise systems on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Apply Agile and traditional program management frameworks to plan, track, and report progress to senior leadership.
- Coordinate acquisition activities, including contract negotiations, financial oversight, and risk management.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between clients, contractors, and Department of the Air Force stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver strategic communications, thought leadership content, and executive briefings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- 5+ years of program management experience in defense or enterprise IT environments.
- Proven track record managing multi‑million dollar programs with complex technical deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and traditional PM methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
