About the Group
Within Vehicle Camera Services, we build advanced camera-based solutions that support vehicle safety, driver assistance, and connected experiences for millions of drivers worldwide. Our domain includes rear view, surround view, connected camera capabilities, trailer and towing features, NCAP-related safety functions, and additional vision-based systems deployed across GM vehicle platforms.
We are a pragmatic, execution-focused engineering organization working across continents, disciplines, and product domains. As our systems expand across platforms, programs, and architectures, we are looking for a Technical Program Manager and SW Execution who combines deep technical capability with broad organizational influence.
What will YOU do?
Own and manage end-to-end project plans across teams and stakeholders, aligning milestones, dependencies, and priorities.
Act as a key decision maker on scope, priorities, and trade-offs in close collaboration with product and technical leaders.
Serve as the primary risk owner for your projects, maintaining clear risk and mitigation plans, driving resolutions, and escalating when needed.
Support our teams by facilitating daily processes and monitoring project execution.
Identify risks, gaps, and challenges early and work closely with technical leaders and management to address them.
Join project status meetings, communicate development progress, and help bring visibility to risks and solutions.
Foster agile practices, helping the teams grow and scale while keeping things simple and efficient.
Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Over 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in complex software R&D projects, with strong experience in agile development and release processes.
Hands-on background in software R&D or system integration roles.
A good system-level understanding, with strong organizational skills.
Hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira and familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies.
Experience in software development environments, especially embedded systems.
