About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of production systems.
- Respond to and resolve system alerts and incidents in a timely manner.
- Perform system administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and patching.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation of operational tasks.
- Collaborate with development and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Technical Operations or System Administration role.
- Strong proficiency with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with shell scripting (e.g., Bash).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).
