About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain mechatronic systems for research projects and teaching labs.
- Program PLCs and embedded controllers, integrating sensors, actuators, and real‑time control logic.
- Create and update CAD models and simulation workflows using industry‑standard tools.
- Collaborate with faculty to embed practical mechatronics modules into the EPIC curriculum.
- Provide technical support and training to students and staff on hardware, software, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience with PLC programming, robotics, and embedded systems.
- Strong proficiency in CAD, MATLAB, and Python for simulation and data analysis.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an academic environment.
