This opportunity is for a Building Surveyor. The candidate will be involved in a mixture of technical due diligence, dilapidation, life cycle and asset verification surveys. Additional roles will include defect diagnosis, technical monitoring projects, undertaking negotiations and maintenance auditing. These tasks will be undertaken across a range of property types, with an emphasis on industrial, office and retail real estate in Poland.
The successful candidate will predominantly be working with both internal and external investor and occupier clients ranging from international speculative investors, large PLC corporates to national/international investment funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical advice within the scope of qualifications.
- Preparation of technical reports (Technical Due Diligence).
- Acting as an consultant/supervision inspector on construction projects.
- Verification of building permit, execution designs as well as as-built documentation.
- Participation in the acceptance inspections of entire properties and installation works.
- Verification of costs of works.
- Advice on selecting contractors for construction and installation works.
- Deliver instructions (surveys & reports) from inception to completion with the minimum of supervision to meet the project objectives in accordance with company policies.
- Comply with T&T policies and management system.
- Work in compliance with Quality Management Procedures.
- To positively contribute to the department’s business plan and revenue targets to assist in achieving its objectives.
- 2-4 years of professional experience
- Unlimited construction license to manage construction works in the structural specialization
OR
- Confirmed necessary professional experience and, within 6 months, readiness to obtain the above-mentioned qualifications.
- Design structural license will be an asset
- Knowledge of Polish construction law and technical conditions with a focus on their practical application.
- Knowledge of English at a level that allows for fluent communication, including knowledge of industry terminology.
- Experience in preparing technical opinions (Technical Due Diligence) is welcome.
- Experience in the field of sustainable construction, innovation, technology, certification will be an asset.
- Fluent in MS Office.
- Driving license category B.
