About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross‑functional engineering team in the end‑to‑end design, development, and delivery of high‑performance platforms supporting wealth management, portfolio management, and investment banking processes.
- Architect and implement robust APIs using .NET and Java, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with downstream systems.
- Drive UI development with modern frameworks such as React and Angular, collaborating closely with product owners to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Oversee data layer design and optimization using PostgreSQL, including schema design, performance tuning, and data integrity strategies.
- Mentor engineers, enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and champion best practices for testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.
- Analyze complex technical challenges, provide data‑driven solutions, and communicate architectural decisions to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands‑on software development experience with React, Angular, Python, .NET, Java, and PostgreSQL.
- Proven track record of leading technical teams and delivering large‑scale, mission‑critical financial systems.
- Strong expertise in API design, micro‑services architecture, and cloud‑native deployment patterns.
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities, capable of influencing both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
