AI Engineer
Lead the design and delivery of advanced generative AI solutions, building scalable LLM‑based agentic systems on AWS, while mentoring a high‑performing engineering team.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement end‑to‑end GenAI pipelines, integrating large language models into production‑grade services.
- Design agentic systems that autonomously interact with users and internal services, ensuring reliability and compliance.
- Lead a cross‑functional team of developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with data scientists to refine model training, fine‑tuning, and evaluation workflows.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Git, and AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, ECS).
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security through automated testing and best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years in Python and AI/ML engineering.
- Deep knowledge of LLMs (e.g., GPT, LLaMA) and experience deploying them at scale.
- Proficiency in AWS, containerization, and cloud‑native architecture.
- Strong leadership skills, able to mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English.
