Lead a high‑impact AI team building an AI‑native data collection platform for field inspection, leveraging Python, machine learning, computer vision, and AWS to create large‑scale datasets and drive product decisions.
About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver the AI‑native data collection layer that powers real‑time inspection for billions of field workers.
- Guide a multidisciplinary team of engineers and data scientists in building scalable machine‑learning pipelines, computer‑vision models, and data‑engineering workflows.
- Define technical standards, code quality practices, and deployment strategies on AWS to ensure reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with product, research, and customer teams to translate domain expertise into actionable AI solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and drive continuous improvement across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Proven track record designing and deploying computer‑vision or data‑intensive AI systems in production.
- Hands‑on experience with AWS services (SageMaker, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, set architecture direction, and mentor engineers.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work closely with domain experts in inspection and field operations.
