About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of end‑to‑end ML pipelines for prediction and evaluation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define model metrics, data requirements, and validation strategies.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in model versioning, reproducibility, and automated testing.
- Mentor and coach a team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of experimentation and rigorous evaluation.
- Own the production deployment of high‑stakes models, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance with safety standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and 5+ years leading ML teams in a safety‑critical domain.
- Deep expertise in Python, data engineering, and cloud‑based ML infrastructure.
- Proven track record of building and evaluating large‑scale predictive models with measurable impact.
- Strong communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience with model monitoring, bias mitigation, and regulatory compliance is a plus.
